Raymond Search Group is seeking a seasoned HVAC service leader in Asheville to own the service department’s financials and drive revenue growth. You will hire, coach, and schedule a team, ensure projects are completed on time and on budget, and closely monitor contracts and utilization.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years managing people in commercial HVAC or mechanical services or with supervisory responsibility.
• Managed a P&L.
• Estimated and presented service quotes; sales instinct is a plus.
• Led a safety-focused team.
• Maturity to lead experienced workers; drive matters more than tenure.

Responsibilities

• Own the financials for the service department and hit the monthly number.
• Grow revenue by repairing quotes, expanding maintenance agreements, and deepening relationships.
• Hire, schedule, coach, and evaluate the service team with regular one-on-ones.
• Place the right technician on each job and support dispatch.
• Deliver service projects, maintenance agreements, and repairs on time and on budget.
• Track maintenance contracts and hours to avoid overruns.
• Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
• Lead a safety-first team and report on operations, inventory, tools, and vehicles.
• Be available for after-hours calls to back up field staff.
