Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Foreman I - HVAC to lead and direct commercial HVAC service technicians on daily calls and projects, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and strong customer communication.

The role builds on hands-on HVAC experience with emerging leadership, offering growth toward greater responsibility within our nationwide service teams. You will coordinate scheduling, material needs, and site safety while mentoring technicians and reporting to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience with emerging leadership.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to service technicians on assigned calls and projects.
• Oversee basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance tasks under leadership guidance.
• Ensure crews follow service procedures, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Assist with material coordination, daily progress tracking, and basic documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and enforce PPE compliance.
• Communicate job status and issues to Service Manager or dispatch.
• Support quality checks and customer communication as directed.
