Modigent seeks a highly experienced Service Technician IV to lead complex commercial HVAC service projects nationwide. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize advanced systems in hospitals, schools, large offices, and industrial facilities, while mentoring junior technicians and upholding safety and quality standards.
The role emphasizes leadership, customer communication, and delivering reliable, energy-efficient solutions across challenging environments.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of progressive commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification required; additional credentials strongly preferred (NATE Advanced, journeyman license, controls training).
- Leadership skills to mentor junior technicians and lead complex service projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex service projects and high-priority calls with advanced diagnostics and major repairs.
- Oversee junior technicians (Levels I–III) on-site with mentorship and safety compliance.
- Explain issues and solutions to customers and build long-term trust on critical accounts.
- Coordinate with dispatch, field leadership, parts, and other trades to resolve multi-system issues.
- Document thorough post-service reports and contribute to process improvements and safety protocols.
