Qualifications

• Proficient in reading specifications and interpreting technical documentation.
• Familiarity with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC training or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review service reports and field assessments to develop accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to validate scope and gather project details.
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and scopes of work for HVAC service.
• Collaborate with service managers, field leaders, and account managers to target bid opportunities.
• Ensure proposals align with customer needs, capacity, and margin goals.
• Maintain pricing databases, vendor quotes, and estimating templates.
• Support closing efforts by following up on proposals with customers and sales teams.
• Stay updated on HVAC systems, codes, and industry trends.
