Job summary

Responsibilities include cost development for HVAC systems, bid submissions, coordination with contractors and vendors, and documentation support to ensure project readiness and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing HVAC or mechanical estimates, takeoffs, bids, and proposals.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and project scope documents.
• Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping systems, labor requirements, and construction timelines.
• Experience using estimating software and preparing accurate quantity surveys.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment for commercial and residential projects.
• Account for labor, materials, subcontractors, and other direct costs in estimates.
• Review plans and specifications to determine scope of work.
• Submit proposals to customers and finalize pricing; follow up on bids.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, PMs, GC, and vendors for pricing and schedules.
• Create submittal packages and purchase materials for approved jobs.
