Opportunity Interactive, an Illinois-based local residential HVAC contractor, is seeking a Service Dispatcher to be the initial contact with customers and provide essential administrative support. The role involves answering calls, scheduling service, dispatching technicians, and maintaining the dispatch board and customer records.

Work hours are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a pay rate of $25.00–$28.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, schedule coordinating, dispatching or project coordinating, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• CRM database experience.
• Dispatching experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction or similar industry is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Answering incoming calls
• Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received
• Create dispatch ticket for all service calls
• Dispatch technicians
• Maintain the dispatch board / schedule
• Forecast workload for 2 - 3 days out
• Contact customers with a \"Parts Pending\" status as parts are received for scheduling
• Follow up on all pending and recommended work with customers utilizing the pending work log
• Maintain the maintenance agreements, scheduling, database information, customer hard files and renewals
• Order parts for special orders
• Update customer files as information is received from installation. (Extended warranties, equipment info, new customer information)
• Maintain customer history files in database
• Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
