Job summary

McKenney’s is seeking a Dispatcher to support operations by scheduling and coordinating HVAC, piping, plumbing, and controls service work. You will work closely with technicians and account managers to ensure excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities include answering inbound calls, serving as primary contact for customers and technicians, scheduling work, and managing daily progress. Strong MS Outlook skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume office and customer service environment.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook (scheduling/emailing).
• Strong customer service mindset with a professional, positive attitude.
• Critical thinking and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in construction, call centers, or Salesforce preferred.
• Some college education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls as part of the call center for the company.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and technicians.
• Schedule service work, match technician skills to job needs, and manage daily work progress.
• Assist with contract scheduling, outstanding service finalization, and administrative tasks (POs, reporting, data entry).
• Create service requests and ensure timely information flow to technicians.
• Support the day-to-day operations of the Dispatch department.
