Job summary

CDI Custom Curb Adapters is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Representative to partner with Regional Sales Representatives and move quotes to production quickly.

You will interpret customer requests, HVAC specs, field measurements, and mechanical drawings to develop accurate quotes and convert them into error-free orders. This role connects Sales, Customers, Engineering, Production, and Logistics to keep projects moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in business/engineering drafting is a plus.
• 2+ years in sales support, customer service, estimating, drafting, or related roles preferred.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings, submittals, equipment schedules, or CAD drawings is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment, sheet metal fabrication, or manufacturing is a major advantage.
• Proficient with Google Workspace; experience with quoting or order entry software is preferred.
• Comfortable with measurements, spatial dimensions, unit pricing and project calculations with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate quotes from project specs, dimensions, schedules, and drawings.
• Review submittals and equipment specs to catch missing or conflicting details before quoting.
• Calculate material, labor, and freight costs in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Production.
• Convert quotes into production orders with exact technical specs.
• Coordinate with Engineering for design reviews and approvals.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, duct configurations, and equipment schedules.
• Serve as internal point of contact for quotes, order status, lead times, and submittals.
• Track bids, customer requests, and order changes to keep schedules on track.
