Job summary

CDI Custom Curb Adapters is seeking a highly organized Sales Support Representative to assist Regional Sales Representatives and drive a seamless customer experience from quote through delivery. You will prepare quotes, review technical drawings, and coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Logistics to move orders efficiently.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to interpret customer requirements, and experience with HVAC, sheet metal, or curb adapters is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, engineering, drafting, estimating, or related field is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, estimating, quoting, order management, engineering support, drafting, manufacturing, or related role preferred.
• Prior experience preparing quotes, estimates, or proposals is strongly preferred.
• Experience interpreting engineering or mechanical drawings is strongly preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, sheet metal, curb adapters, construction, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
• Experience using CRM, ERP, quoting, estimating, CAD, or order-entry systems preferred.
• Experience working with dimensions, measurements, specifications, material requirements, or manufacturing processes is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage incoming customer orders for the assigned plant and sales territory.
• Prepare accurate customer quotes based on provided specifications, measurements, drawings, equipment information, and project requirements.
• Review customer requests to identify products, materials, dimensions, configurations, and other information for quotes.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Representatives, Engineering, Production and other internal teams for complex quotes.
• Review drawings, equipment schedules, specifications to determine quoting requirements.
• Identify missing or unclear information before quoting.
• Calculate pricing including materials, labor, production, freight, and other costs.
• Generate, track, revise, and follow up on quotes, proposals, and bids.
• Convert approved quotes into orders ensuring all specs carried through to entry.
• Maintain accurate quote records in CRM/management systems.
• Escalate engineering review when needed.
