Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a Business Development Representative to support sales growth with our Customer/Dealer network. You will drive profitable sales by developing and advancing accounts, regularly contacting customers, and ensuring they understand and adopt our technologies.

Reports to the Director of Sales. You will build relationships, resolve issues, and identify new business opportunities through outbound calls, while leveraging Salesforce to document activities and plan

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, problem solving, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and use data-driven insights to support decision-making and business growth.
• Ability to learn and apply HVACR terminology and product knowledge; prior industry knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service with incoming communication.
• Assist in resolving customer relations problems with dealers and end users.
• Identify new business opportunities with outbound calls to new and existing customers and grow technology adoption.
• Explain how our technologies help customers and grow product usage.
• Use Salesforce to document activities, manage calendars, tasks and events.
• Assess clients’ needs and negotiate prices or terms.
