Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks a skilled Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration to install, maintain and repair systems in commercial settings. You will interpret schematics, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and environmental compliance while supporting preventive maintenance programs.

You will lead field teams, mentor technicians, and coordinate service calls across multiple facilities; operating company vehicles and on-call rotations are required. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems per codes and standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and perform repairs.
• Lead field teams and mentor technicians; manage service calls and documentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure OSHA/EPA 608 compliance.
• Operate company vehicles and coordinate with external providers as needed.
