Job summary

Walmart Inc. Texarkana site is seeking a Technician, Facility Services specializing in HVAC-Refrigeration. The role installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC and refrigeration systems across our facilities, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

You will lead field teams, mentor technicians, and coordinate service calls while adhering to OSHA/EPA standards and maintaining strong customer communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance.
• Alternative: 4 years’ experience in related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; knowledge of building codes and HVAC/R regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC/refrigeration systems per specs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial/industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to optimize performance.
• Lead and mentor field technicians on procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and safety practices with customers and partners.
