Job summary

Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems across Walmart facilities in the United States. You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while improving equipment efficiency.

You will lead preventive maintenance, manage refrigerant handling, and coordinate service calls within assigned regions, using strong communication with customers and management.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to read layouts, schematics, and building codes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration units and HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead field teams and mentor technicians on safety practices.
• Manage service calls and coordinate resources.
