Job summary

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction.
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman when required.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report.
• No DUI/DWI/OUI convictions in last 5 years and clean driving record.
• No preventable accidents with commercial vehicle in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels, and building pneumatics.
• Configures and calibrates low ambient systems and direct digital controls.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Implements preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Leads field teams and mentors junior technicians and apprentices.
• Drives company vehicle for service calls and coordinates with managers.
