Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration in La Vergne, TN to install, calibrate, and service commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across facilities.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, mentor junior techs, and participate in on-call rotations. Valid HVAC/R certification and driver's license required; wage range $29.00-$58.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification or 4 years of mechanical maintenance/installation experience in commercial HVAC/R buildings.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification where required.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installs and services HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and controls.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and performs repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Mentors technicians and apprentices on technical procedures and safety practices.
• Participates in on-call rotation and coordinates with customers and service teams.
