Walmart Morristown, TN is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to install and service commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems across multiple facilities. You will interpret plans, calibrate systems, and ensure code compliance while mentoring apprentices and coordinating with service teams.

The role requires EPA 608 certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work across varied locations with on-call duties. A strong safety focus and customer communication are essential.

Formación

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years in maintenance or construction field
• Or 4 years in maintenance or construction-related field
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal)
• Valid state driver's license with clean motor vehicle record
• Commercial driving record with limited violations in recent years

Responsabilidades

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems per plans and codes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices in procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and manage workload with digital tools.
