Job summary

Harris Company in Brook Park, OH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to provide project management support during all phases of HVAC construction, ensuring project standards, budgets, deadlines and clear communications with the team.

You will manage document control, organize drawings, specifications, RFIs, and shop drawings, assist with RFIs tracking, attend field meetings, and support safety programs, procurement, estimating and project closeout documentation for multiple regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or related field.
• 2+ years of knowledge/experience in the building & construction industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to read construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support during all phases of HVAC construction.
• Manage document control: organize and distribute drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Attend field coordination meetings and distribute meeting notes; assist in safety compliance and quality control.
• Assist in procurement, estimating, and tracking of project costs and closeout documentation.
