Job summary

Property Management, Inc. (PMI) is seeking a full-time HVAC Preventive Maintenance Crew Supervisor to lead the commercial HVAC PM team across multiple properties.

You will perform hands-on maintenance with technicians, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety and quality while meeting company standards. The ideal candidate has extensive commercial HVAC experience, prior supervisory experience, strong organizational and coaching skills, and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Previous commercial HVAC maintenance or service experience required.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and preventive maintenance practices.
• Previous supervisory or lead technician experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable for performance and quality standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple technicians, properties, and work schedules.
• Experience working with rooftop units, split systems, package units, heat pumps, boilers, pumps, exhaust systems, and controls preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use electronic work-order systems, email, and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between assigned properties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the commercial HVAC preventive maintenance team.
• Perform hands-on preventive maintenance alongside technicians.
• Coordinate technician assignments, work schedules, and maintenance activities across properties.
• Ensure maintenance is completed safely, thoroughly, and per schedules.
• Review completed work orders, maintenance reports, and documentation for accuracy and quality.
• Provide technical guidance, training, coaching, and performance feedback to technicians.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and coordinate follow-up repairs or actions.
• Order and coordinate filters, belts, materials for upcoming maintenance.
• Monitor team productivity and adherence to safety procedures.
• Communicate scheduling concerns and maintenance updates to management.
• Coordinate and oversee outside contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with tracking completion rates.
