Job summary

KPM Property Management is seeking a Lead HVAC Maintenance Technician to serve as the technical backbone of the on-site team while ensuring resident comfort. You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, own the preventive-maintenance program, and mentor technicians to uphold high standards.

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role requiring EPA certification, multiple years of HVAC experience, and the ability to manage turn timelines and safety protocols across the property.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 certification is mandatory for refrigerant work.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills on residential HVAC systems.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical components.
• Experience leading or mentoring other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across the community.
• Own the preventive-maintenance program and seasonal readiness.
• Oversee general make-readies and the summer turn to 100% move-in readiness.
• Prioritize and close out work orders; coordinate with Community Manager.
