Job summary

Revised personnel is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead Assistant to join our property management team. This on-site role leads a small maintenance crew, oversees repairs, and supports resident satisfaction with proactive upkeep.

You will conduct inspections, coordinate unit turns, respond to on-call emergencies, and maintain thorough records while ensuring safety and cleanliness across the property.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building systems
• Lead, train, and coordinate a maintenance technician team to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively
• Manage unit turns - preparing vacant units for move-in, including painting, cleaning coordination, and punch list completion
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests on a rotating on-call schedule
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding service requests and timelines
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and equipment service history
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Ensure the property is always safe, clean, and well-maintained
