Job summary

Goettl Air Conditioning Inc. seeks a seasoned HVAC Operations Manager to build a brand-new Glendale market from day one. You will recruit the founding team, set safety standards, shape the culture, and execute with established systems and support.

Report to the General Manager and own the market responsibilities from the first hire forward. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI improvements while driving EBITDA growth and ensuring every team member lives the Goettl Way.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in residential HVAC operations.
• Strong technical, business, and communication skills.
• Ability to oversee service and installation departments and drive accountability.
• Dynamic, high-energy leader with integrity and strong communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and ServiceTitan; CRM or scheduling tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and develop the founding HVAC team for the new market.
• Implement and enforce industry-standard safety procedures.
• Set and track KPIs: engagement, turnover, incidents, driving scores, and on-time performance.
• Lead daily department management and respond quickly to reviews and tickets.
• Improve technician development, returns/warranty, batching, and inventory.
• Lead budgeting/forecasting and collaborate with GM to hit EBITDA targets.
• Hold the team accountable to the Goettl Way.
