Job summary

Goettl Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Field Supervisor (QCI and training) in Phoenix, AZ. You will spend six weeks in the field learning Goettl processes, then lead field QC inspections and coaching to raise the market standard.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, strong diagnostic and mentoring skills, and EPA 608 certification. This full‑time, on‑site role offers training, a robust compensation plan with commissions, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC field experience; 6+ preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, repair, and coaching abilities.
• Proficiency with MQ inspections and field correction procedures.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills; field credibility essential.
• MS Office, email, and field service tools proficiency; ServiceTitan a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MQ inspections on completed installations and diagnose issues on site.
• Perform ride-alongs and QC checks to evaluate technician performance vs Goettl standards.
• Coach and mentor installers in real time for immediate improvement.
• Analyze callback trends and drive corrective action to reduce returns.
• Serve as technical authority on complex troubleshooting at high-stakes sites.
• Track quality KPIs with the Technical Supervisor and align training with field realities.
• Assess technician competency during hiring and onboarding.
• Run warranty calls and callbacks as needed.
