Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with a strong HVAC focus to lead daily maintenance operations and serve as the site’s lead mechanical resource.

This role combines frontline supervision with hands-on execution, overseeing technicians, prioritizing work, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of building systems. EPA Refrigerant certification and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with HVAC mechanical systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.
• Experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance technicians and service providers.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor work orders to meet SLAs.
• Provide field leadership, coaching, and technical guidance.
• Conduct routine inspections for quality workmanship.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE, and regulatory compliance.
• Independently assess operational needs and address issues proactively.
