Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team across our properties, overseeing daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, and on-call service responses. The role includes interviewing and training staff, managing tools, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge, hands-on experience with hand and power tools, and a track record of supervisory responsibilities within property

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel with the manager.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment; ensure safety policies are followed.
• Schedule and supervise vendor work; manage inventory and supplies.
• Be available for on-call responses, snow/ice removal, and 24-hour service requests.
