Job summary

IES is seeking an HVAC Leadman/Trainer to support HVAC operations, ensure quality workmanship, and drive successful installation, service, replacement, or operational objectives at project sites.

The role requires 4–6 years of related experience, EPA certification, and the ability to train apprentices while coordinating with internal teams, customers, and vendors. This on-site position demands strong organizational skills and customer-focused communication.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience and knowledge is required or preferred.
• EPA certification is required.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities needed.
• Ability to train HVAC apprentices and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC duties to support department and company goals.
• Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Keep accurate records and reporting for responsibilities.
• Support process improvements and efficiency efforts.
• Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
• Assist leadership with daily operational activities.
• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction are met.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
