Southern Home Services is seeking an HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee installation, upgrade, and replacement of residential HVAC systems. Lead a team of technicians, ensure high-quality service, and maintain safety and compliance on all jobs.

Requirements include 1+ year of residential HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. The position involves physical work, customer interaction, and training of Install Helpers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year HVAC experience in residential market.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• EPA certification is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and/or replace HVAC systems in residential homes with precision.
• Cut, thread, and connect copper or PVC pipes and handle high/low voltage wiring.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Maintain tools, parts, and the vehicle in an organized and clean condition.
• Perform work safely at heights and in tight spaces.
• Ensure adherence to appliance standards and safety regulations.
