Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC trainer to lead hands-on technical training in our state-of-the-art facilities and occasionally on active job sites. You will mentor apprentices and support the growth of field and office staff across HVAC/mechanical scopes.

You’ll design training content, evaluate new hires for readiness, partner with subject matter experts, and help uphold high installation quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active HVAC knowledge with training experience preferred.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into practical instruction.
• Experience mentoring apprentices and colleagues in HVAC/mechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person hands-on HVAC training to apprentices and staff.
• Teach best practices, installation standards, safety expectations, and field procedures.
• Develop curricula, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with codes.
• Evaluate skill levels for hires and promotions, and mentor growth.
• Collaborate with SMEs and industry partners to improve programs.
