Job summary

Sears Home Improvement Products is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage the installation process for a defined product set across its district, coordinating scheduling, quality, customer satisfaction and subcontractor oversight.

The role acts as the main liaison between customers and Sears, handling installation, contracts and service issues, with authority to recruit and contract independent subcontractors and ensure workmanship quality meets Sears standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operational experience in HVAC.
• Two to five years on-the-job experience in construction/management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation projects from start to finish.
• Recruit and train subcontractors.
• Coordinate customer communications on job and service issues.
• Manage costs and customer service related to assigned product lines.
• Oversee warehouse staff and Installation Assistant where applicable.
• Resolve contract issues with sales staff.
• Ensure permits, licenses and insurance coverage are current.
• Conduct site inspections and spot checks on subcontractors.
