Job summary

Sears Holdings Corporation is looking for a Project Coordinator to oversee the installation process for a specific product or set across the district. This role covers scheduling, quality control, customer satisfaction, materials management and managing independent contractors to meet Sears standards.

The position serves as the primary liaison between customers and Sears regarding installation, contracts and service issues, with authority to recruit and contract sub-contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• Two to five years on-the-job experience in the construction business.
• May require a state contractor license related to installation/construction.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Experience managing subcontractors or subcontractor-based businesses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all jobs in progress from start to finish
• Recruiting and training sub-contractors.
• Controlling the communications with the customer on job and service issues.
• Support the installation process through effective materials management.
• Managing customer service related issues and expenses for all products lines assigned.
• Supervises (or shares supervision) of warehouse staff (employees and/or temporary workers) and the Installation Assistant.
• Support the installation process by identifying, communicating and resolving contract issues with sales staff.
• Maintain QED standards in district location.
• Ensure proper permits and licenses for all jobs have been obtained and are continually maintained.
