Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Ashland, KY is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to build customer relationships, process orders for HVAC/R parts, and assist customers with product selection. The role requires product knowledge, strong time management, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include researching products, entering sales orders, handling returns/warranties, and supporting the team in achieving sales targets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• General knowledge of inventory systems; RF knowledge is a plus.
• General knowledge of HVAC products and industry.
• Proficient in using web-based tools to research products.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
• Understand and demonstrate products to customers.
• Identify required HVAC/R parts based on description.
• Research and source products to meet customer needs.
• Enter sales orders into the computer system.
• Balance cash drawers and process invoices and will-call orders.
• Process returns and warranties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
