Job summary

Ambient Enterprises seeks an Inside Sales Engineer to quote, design, and track HVAC equipment for engineering firms and mechanical contractors in the Madison area. You will collaborate with Outside Salesperson(s) to move deals efficiently and accurately, using selection software to craft system proposals and pricing.

You will review plans, generate pricing, and create/change orders while maintaining clear client communication.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
• 1–2 years HVAC industry preferred.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Revit is a plus but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Quote, design, order and track HVAC equipment and systems for engineers and contractors in the Madison area.
• Coordinate with Outside Salesperson to support clients, deals and projects.
• Use selection software to create systems for engineers and contractors.
• Review design plans and provide pricing estimates; create proposals and pricing.
• Order, process and track equipment sales with adequate lead time; ensure orders are fulfilled.
