Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our growing HVAC engineering sales team serving New England. Based in MA, you will help promote the Ambient brand and support project quotes from estimates through closeout while collaborating with manufacturers and clients.

You will travel for factory training, review design documents, perform takeoffs, develop quotes, process orders, and assemble manuals for project closeout, with some travel options.

Qualifications

• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to collaborate closely. We achieve success together.
• Clear written and verbal communication with team, manufacturers, and clients.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Adobe, Bluebeam.
• Engineering Degree, or equivalent HVAC experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical knowledge through factory training (travel may be required).
• Review design documents and specifications, perform takeoffs and develop project quotes.
• Assist with technical support and compile submittal packages.
• Process orders and track equipment purchases, provide updates to customers.
• Compile installation, operation, and maintenance manuals and closeout documentation.
• Manage virtual project files.
• Support bid forecast and pipeline as required.
