Qualifications

• 1+ year of counter sales or inside sales experience, HVAC preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school/industry experience preferred.
• Ability to learn product lines and operate POS software.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, quotes, and requests promptly with follow-up as requested.
• Listen and ask questions to assess customer needs and offer the best solution.
• Provide product/service recommendations to solve customer problems and grow sales.
• Increase sales at the Urbana Branch whenever possible.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and running efficiently.
• Prepare orders for pickup or delivery and notify customers when ready.
• Label, stock, and locate products in the system and operate hand trucks and forklifts.
• Learn company products and procedures through available training resources.
• Maintain a fast, accurate workflow with a positive attitude.
