Goodin Company in Madison, WI is hiring a knowledgeable Technical Service Advisor to support HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and mechanical system products. You will troubleshoot, explain technical information clearly, and help contractors and internal teams solve real-world system challenges.

As a Technical Service Advisor, you will provide product application guidance, troubleshooting support, training, and warranty assistance while helping customers select the right products and keep projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, mechanical systems, or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, specifications, and product documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer-first problem solving.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within service territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and mechanical system products.
• Assist customers with equipment selection, sizing, system applications, startup support, and product recommendations.
• Support HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, water heating, controls, and related product lines.
• Deliver technical training programs, product demonstrations, and practical guidance for customers and internal teams.
• Assist with warranty questions, product concerns, and manufacturer communications.
• Partner with Sales and Branch teams to support customer relationships, project opportunities, and successful outcomes.
• Stay current on industry technologies, codes, standards, product updates, and best practices.
