Job summary

Goodin Company is seeking a knowledgeable Technical Service Advisor to support HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and mechanical system products at the Wausau, WI location. You will troubleshoot issues, guide customers, and provide product guidance while collaborating with sales and branch teams.

Responsibilities include technical support, equipment sizing, startup assistance, warranty help, and training for customers and internal teams. Travel is expected within the service territory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, or related technical fields.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and product documentation.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Assist with equipment sizing, system applications, startup support, and product recommendations.
• Support related product lines and warranty questions with manufacturers and branches.
• Deliver technical training, product demonstrations, and practical guidance to customers and staff.
• Collaborate with Sales and Branch teams to foster customer relationships and project success.
• Stay current on industry technologies, codes, standards, and product updates.
