Job summary

Legacy Mechanical Services, based in Georgia, seeks a Business Development Manager to expand our HVAC, mechanical, controls, and preventive maintenance offerings.

You will hunt for new commercial opportunities, build relationships with facility leaders, and guide clients from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing account success. Travel across the assigned territory is required, and a proven track record in driving revenue is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales or business development in HVAC or facilities services.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and closing service agreements.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building abilities.
• Technical understanding of HVAC systems and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory growth strategy focused on new client acquisition.
• Identify and secure new commercial HVAC service and PM agreements.
• Generate leads via networking, cold calling, referrals, and events.
• Conduct facility assessments and identify maintenance opportunities.
• Build relationships with facility managers and decision-makers.
• Present customized service solutions to reduce downtime and costs.
• Collaborate with service and project teams to meet customer needs.
• Maintain sales pipeline and provide accurate CRM forecasting.
• Meet or exceed revenue and margin goals.
• Represent Legacy Mechanical professionally at events.
