Job summary

Jetson in San Jose, CA seeks an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead HVAC installation teams. You will ensure readiness of tools, equipment, and parts, coordinate with logistics, and coach field technicians to deliver high-quality installations while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role blends field leadership with process improvement, requiring 5+ years managing field teams, CAC Class I, NATE/608 preferred, strong English communication, and proficiency with scheduling

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a management role overseeing field teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and field apps.
• GA CAC Class I Restricted certification is preferred.
• NATE and Section 608 certifications are preferred.
• Excellent English communications and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison between field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling.
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installation projects.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Identify operational obstacles and proactively resolve issues impacting productivity or timelines.
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship, efficiency, and customer service.
