Job summary

Jetson Home is expanding in Maryland and seeks an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead HVAC installation teams. You will ensure readiness, allocate resources, and solve real-time issues to drive safety, quality, and efficiency on site.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with logistics, procurement, and scheduling, and uphold OSHA standards while scaling processes for rapid growth in the residential market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a management role overseeing field teams.
• MHIC licence is required.
• NATE and Section 608 certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.
• Act as the liaison between field crew and internal departments (logistics, procurement, scheduling).
• Conduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installations.
• Monitor safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Identify obstacles and resolve issues affecting productivity or timelines.
• Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs to ensure project parameters are met.
• Assess staffing needs based on business inputs.
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship and customer service.
• Review completed installations for quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support warranty and rework investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide performance feedback and assist with evaluations.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine operational procedures and best practices.
