Job summary

Jetson is seeking an experienced HVAC Field Operations Manager to support installation teams across California. You will bridge field operations and leadership, ensuring readiness, resource allocation, and real-time problem solving to drive safety, efficiency, and quality.

Responsibilities include coaching field technicians, coordinating tools and parts, enforcing safety and codes, and collaborating with logistics, procurement, and scheduling to optimize performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HVAC install team leadership experience.
• 5+ years in a management role overseeing field teams.
• GA CAC Class I Restricted certification (preferred).
• HVAC NATE and Section 608 certification preferred.
• Knowledge of heat pumps, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent English communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and paperwork daily.
• Act as liaison between field crew and internal departments (logistics, procurement, scheduling).
• Conduct site visits for coaching and quality assurance on active projects.
• Monitor safety and ensure compliance with local codes.
• Identify obstacles and resolve issues impacting productivity or timelines.
• Conduct pre-installation walkthroughs and staff planning.
• Train and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship.
• Review installations to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support warranty investigations and corrective actions.
• Provide feedback and assist evaluations of team members.
• Collaborate with leadership to refine procedures and best practices.
