Job summary

Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, TX is seeking a Facilities Services Specialist – HVAC to ensure proper operation and maintenance of campus heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, and to maintain acceptable indoor air quality in all facilities.

This 100% on-site, full-time role requires a high school diploma, 3 years of HVAC experience, BAS/energy management familiarity, and the ability to work on-call rotations; you will troubleshoot, perform PMs, coordinate with contractors,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Three years of HVAC experience.
• Training or working knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS controls, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Knowledge of energy management HVAC controls and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and limited repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Oversee and maintain HVAC operations at the Central Plant; monitor BAS and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with contractors for campus work and coordinate timely repairs.
