Lone Star College-Conroe Center is hiring an HVAC Technician III to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems across campus facilities. The role requires performing preventative maintenance and coordinating with vendors on large projects to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, reading blueprints, and maintaining records. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of experience, EPA 608 Universal, and Texas technician certification; associate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required and at least 5 years of experience.
• EPA 608 Certification (Universal) and Texas technician certification are required.
• Candidate should have experience with building automation and maintenance management systems.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher and experience in educational/institutional settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of HVAC systems and components.
• Diagnose issues with compressors, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with contractors on major installations and upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders and parts inventory.
