Job summary

MAA Coral Springs is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to maintain apartment homes and property facilities in working order. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, following a preventative maintenance plan to ensure resident satisfaction.

The role requires HVAC experience and EPA Type II/Universal certification within 90 days of hire, plus a valid driver's license. A strong customer-service approach is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) units; electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures; plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follows a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follows up with residents after repairs are complete.
