Job summary

MAA in Tampa, FL is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs to ensure apartments and facilities are in good order. Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, following preventative maintenance schedules and communicating with residents.

EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days; valid driver’s license; opportunity for certifications

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs.
