Job summary

National HVAC Seaford is seeking an Operations Dispatcher to manage technician schedules and ensure service commitments are met. You will coordinate daily dispatch for maintenance and repairs, interact with customers, and provide regular status updates while collaborating with Service Managers and Sales Reps.

Ideal candidates have HVAC dispatch experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent communication and organizational abilities to keep operations efficient and cost-effective.

Qualifications

• Two years HVAC dispatch experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and phone skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in an office environment.
• Able to understand technical terminology and mechanical processes.
• Key2Act/Great Plains software experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The position may require lifting approximately 15-20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Service Technicians to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance contracts including coverage and billable services.
• Schedule technicians daily, weekly, and monthly and reconcile time entries.
• Interact with Customers, Service Managers, Field Supervisors, Technicians, and Sales Reps to meet needs.
• Provide frequent status updates to Customers.
• Review technicians’ call summaries and schedule follow-up work; collaborate with A/R.
• Answer, handle and/or distribute inbound calls.
