Job summary

Brody Pennell Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to serve as the primary contact for customers and field technicians. You will manage daily dispatch activities, coordinate appointments, and resolve issues promptly to uphold service standards.

In this role you will monitor the dispatch board, collaborate with service and operations managers, and provide timely reporting. A fast-paced environment requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using computers and various software applications.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and stressful situations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Take and return phone calls from customers and technicians and schedule/reschedule appointments.
• Schedule flips and high-priority jobs within minutes of requests.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the dispatch board with management guidance.
• Schedule service repair projects and confirm next-day and same-day appointments.
• Inform clients of call timelines and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain professionalism and act as a customer and technician advocate.
• Scrub calls, add notes, and prepare every order for success.
• Use Service Titan to book and dispatch client jobs.
• Provide hourly and daily reporting on bookings, calls, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Service, Office, and Operations Managers; perform delegated tasks.
• Provide phone/scheduling backup as needed and manage purchase orders.
