Astra Air & Repair, a Houston-based residential HVAC and home services company, is looking for an organized HVAC Dispatcher to help keep our technicians moving, customers informed, and daily operations running smoothly.

The HVAC Dispatcher serves as a central hub for field operations, managing requests, scheduling, monitoring workloads, and communicating with customers and internal teams. This fast-paced role requires judgment, organization, urgency, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dispatching, scheduling, or maintenance coordination preferred.
• Experience with Housecall Pro and Property Meld strongly preferred.
• HVAC/home services or property management experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple urgent requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive service requests and dispatch HVAC technicians accordingly.
• Coordinate schedules, routes, and priorities for optimal productivity.
• Monitor dispatch boards and keep customers and teams informed.
• Handle emergency calls, reschedules, and changes promptly.
• Review work orders for accuracy and prioritization before dispatch.
• Maintain notes and documentation in Housecall Pro and Property Meld.
• Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and leadership to resolve issues.
