Job summary

Tighe & Bond is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Mechanical HVAC Design Team in the Northeast. You will assist with designing air and hydronic systems, conduct load calculations, and create documents using AutoCAD and Revit while participating in site visits to gain real-world experience.

The internship offers hybrid work, mentorship, and structured learning opportunities as you explore building services and sustainability-focused projects across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's program pursuing Mechanical Engineering.
• Coursework or experience in heating/cooling load calculations or thermodynamics.
• Previous internship experience in mechanical systems or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of mechanical air and hydronic systems, including drawings and details.
• Support heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard tools.
• Assist in preparing mechanical design documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Participate in construction site visits and field surveys of existing mechanical systems.
