Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support engineers and designers on HVAC, plumbing, and building systems for infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to design principles, load calculations, and coordination across disciplines.

The role provides mentorship from experienced professionals, opportunities to work with AutoCAD or Revit, and exposure to energy efficiency topics while contributing to active assignments.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Completed coursework in engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, HVAC, or related topics.
• Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Revit and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical drawings, calculations, equipment research, reports, and other project documentation.
• Support the design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, process, and related mechanical systems.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, field observations, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
