Job summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join Tighe & Bond's Mechanical HVAC Design Team in Westfield, MA, Woburn, MA, or Westwood, MA. You will assist in designing mechanical air and hydronic systems, perform load calculations, and contribute to AutoCAD/Revit documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Coursework or experience in heating/cooling load calculations or thermodynamics.
• Previous internship experience and interest in FE Exam.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of mechanical air systems and hydronic systems including drawings, flow diagrams, and details.
• Support heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard tools/software.
• Assist in the preparation of mechanical design documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Participate in construction site visits and field surveys of existing mechanical systems.
