Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree aligned with Southland needs (B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field).
• Completion of Thermodynamics and HVAC Design courses desirable.
• Demonstrates initiative, communication, and problem-solving.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers with design tasks.
• Perform basic calculations (loads, equipment sizing, piping/duct sizing).
• Support project design coordination with management, architects, and trades.
• Perform and review CADD drafting work.
• Review codes and site conditions to support design.
